So I Send You will see the establishment and development of a professional networking platform for the ongoing communication, information and formation of Catholic leaders.

Friends of the Foundation

Friends of the Foundation will be invited to support the work of The Foundation and contribute to the education and formation of Catholic lay leaders who we believe will exercise ever more influential leadership within the Church as senior leaders themselves. Friends will be invited to help guide its early development. Friends will also be invited to consider how they could be more directly involved in ways including:

  1. Becoming a contracted mentor for those leaders undertaking the Into the Deep Program

  2. Writing one or more short reflections for our fortnightly newsletter 

  3. Posting and responding to posts sharing ideas and information as a member of an online professional learning community created at catholicleadershipfoundation.org

  4. Praying for our Foundation and those for whom it seeks to provide education formation

Friends of the Foundation will have access to formation opportunities themselves and be invited to annual Mass and dinner funded by The Foundation.

Components

3.1 Establish, develop and maintain an online leadership ministry networking and formation resource platform at catholicleadershipfoundation.org for ‘Friends of the Foundation’, participants and graduates of ‘Into The Deep’.

3.2 Development and maintenance of ‘Catholic Leadership Foundation’ public website at catholicleadershipfoundation.com to include searchable database with links to Catholic adult education and formation programs, evants promotions and resources.

Strategies

3.1.1 Design, create and develop an online ministry networking and formation resource platform in response to patterns of feedback.

3.1.2 Invite and provide training in the use of the platform for new members.

3.1.3 Engage ‘Friends of the Foundation’ in online fellowship and support for each other through chat, notifications, posts and comments.

3.2.1 Cooperate with other entities to promote relevant Catholic adult and ministry education events, including conferences, programs and lectures

3.2.2 Provide links to quality resources supporting the work of ministry education and formation.
